💼 About This Role

You'll lead end-to-end research initiatives that push EliseAI's core conversational AI models forward, working on machine learning and large language models for housing and healthcare. You will shape the company's research agenda and translate breakthroughs into customer-visible features.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify open questions in tenant engagement, conversational AI, and LLM safety, and roadmap projects
• Design experiments, build prototypes, run large-scale evaluations, and launch into production
• Coach junior scientists, review code, and raise the technical bar
• Partner with engineering, product, and GTM to translate research into features

📋 Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, or related field
• Five years of post-PhD experience (industry or academia)
• Strong foundation in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar with ML libraries
