💼 About This Role

You'll own cost of sales and inventory management for Octopus Energy Services, preparing monthly management accounts from month-end close to variance analysis. You'll work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and identify commercial risks and opportunities.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly divisional and consolidated management accounts
• Manage inventory transactions and general ledger accuracy
• Reconcile stock counts and resolve variances
• Assist with re-forecasting, budgeting, and KPI modeling

📋 Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• 2-3+ years in cost accounting or commercial finance with inventory
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with physical inventory (retail, manufacturing, etc.)

• NetSuite experience
• Experience with process improvement and financial control
• Strong communication with non-finance stakeholders
