Description

As a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical performance of automated production machines, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality glass production. This role reports to the Plant Manager and is vital to the maintenance team at an industry leader.

Requirements

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and operating high-speed production machinery (electrical and mechanical)
• Experience with industrial electrical equipment, CNC, PLCs/drivers, and motors
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain and observe operation of machines to ensure high-quality glass production
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to increase equipment run time between failures
• Assist management in root cause analysis when failures occur
