💼 About This Role

You'll support accounting activities across The Economist Group's international entities, preparing statutory accounts and managing intercompany processes. You'll ensure timely audits and regulatory compliance while delivering insightful management reporting. This role offers exposure to diverse jurisdictions and the chance to improve accounting processes.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Prepare statutory accounts for TEG entities across UK, Europe, Asia and India.
• Own intercompany invoicing, remittances, and reconciliations.
• Manage audits and ensure timely closure of queries.
• Prepare internal management accounts with variance analysis.

📋 Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 2-3 years post qualification experience.
• Experience in management accounting including accruals and prepayments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Experience with audit coordination and balance sheet preparation.

✨ Nice to Have

• ERP knowledge, especially PeopleSoft.
• Consolidation of group results experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
