💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve Baseten's company-wide compensation strategy, philosophy, and programs. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping compensation, leveling frameworks, and equity programs. This role blends strategic design with hands-on execution in a high-growth AI company.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve company-wide compensation strategy and programs.
  • Build and maintain compensation bands with market benchmarking.
  • Design competitive new hire offers and advise on negotiation strategy.
  • Lead bi-annual leveling and compensation review cycles.
  • Manage new hire equity grants and design equity refresher programs.

📋 Requirements

  • 7+ years of compensation or total rewards experience in high-growth tech.
  • Deep expertise in equity compensation (stock options, RSUs).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets, HRIS, and benchmarking tools.
  • Proven experience designing salary bands, leveling frameworks, and bonus plans.
