You'll own the technical vision and long-term architecture for Zapier's Revenue Zone, building billing, subscription, and payment infrastructure. You'll define pricing primitives and service boundaries that let the company ship pricing changes in days. This role is critical for how Zapier monetizes its next phase of growth and offers high autonomy in a domain where correctness is non-negotiable.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for the Revenue Zone
• Define pricing primitives, service boundaries, and data models
• Drive cross-team alignment with Product, Finance, and Sales
• Ensure correctness and scalability of billing and payment systems

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in complex production systems at scale
• Domain expertise in billing, payments, or monetization systems
• Expertise in API design and platform evolution for multiple consumers
• Track record of performance optimization through profiling and caching
