💼 About This Role

You'll manage wastewater and liquid waste treatment processes for the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. You'll ensure safe handling and regulatory compliance for hazardous and radioactive waste streams. This role supports critical national security operations in a highly regulated environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage wastewater treatment processes for compliance
• Evaluate and approve incoming waste streams
• Characterize hazardous and radioactive liquid waste
• Coordinate with waste generators and documentation teams

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, or related field
• 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment or environmental compliance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Familiarity with RCRA, TSCA, and DOE Order 435.1

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with DOE or nuclear facility operations
• Knowledge of waste acceptance programs and generator interface
• Nuclear safety or environmental permitting experience
