You'll join the Patient Experience team at Ro to design and build scalable backend services using Python with FastAPI or Django. You'll own features end-to-end, partnering with Product and Design to drive measurable patient outcomes. This role offers the chance to shape technical roadmap in a high-growth health tech company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable distributed services using Python with FastAPI or Django
• Partner with product teams to shape requirements and define success metrics
• Own features end-to-end from discovery through launch and iteration
• Drive engineering excellence via testing, monitoring, and performance optimization

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Python, relational databases, and frameworks like FastAPI or Django
• Proven track record scaling data-intensive backend systems in high-traffic environment
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data consistency patterns

• Experience in telehealth or highly regulated industries
• Experience with decoupling monolithic applications into distributed services
