💼 About This Role

You'll join the assembly team at GILLIG, the leading US manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses, working on battery electric and other advanced buses. Your role involves interpreting engineering drawings and assembling mechanical/electrical components on a fast-paced assembly line. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Install mechanical/electrical components like engines, transmissions, and wire harnesses
• Fit and adjust passenger doors, body panels, and trim
• Seal joints and seams using a caulking gun
• Inspect and verify quality of work and document defects

📋 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 70 lbs frequently
• Knowledge of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
• Ability to read and understand English both written and verbal

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with sheet metal body repairs
• Proficiency in operating sanders, grinding tools, and spray guns
• Prior assembly line experience
