Description

You will drive the strategy, technical design, and modernization of MongoD B's Quote-to-Revenue processes. This hybrid role blends enterprise architecture strategy with pragmatic solution architecture execution, enabling scale for "MongoDB 3.0" by minimizing manual intervention and designing tools for continuous improvement. You'll own the architecture for monetization platforms, navigate the "buy vs. build" landscape of billing engines with a focus on usage-based and consumption modeling, and act as a catalyst for AI-driven business transformation.

Requirements

• 15+ years progressively responsible IT experience with substantial senior-level Enterprise and Solution Architecture
• 10+ years designing complex event-driven integrations using modern middleware, APIs, microservices, and data streaming
• Deep expertise in usage-based/consumption-based billing platforms and buy vs. build decisions
• Expertise in CPQ, Billing, and common go-to-market and finance business processes
• Experience leading architecture for large-scale implementations

Responsibilities

• Define and execute architecture strategy for consumption-based business models, including buy vs. build decisions for billing engines
• Define integration strategy for Q2C landscape, ensuring interoperability between first-party and third-party systems
• Design robust integration patterns (REST APIs, Event-Driven, SOA) for decoupled systems with data consistency
• Define AI architecture strategy for revenue cycle, establishing data foundations and deploying AI capabilities like anomaly detection and intelligent quoting
• Define and maintain architecture principles, guardrails, and standards for the Q2C ecosystem, leading governance activities
