💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Platform Infrastructure team within Spotify's Platform Developer Experience studio, owning cloud foundations, security posture, and developer tooling that thousands of engineers depend on. You'll define technical vision for multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS, and drive AI-native automation into platform operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead a team building multi-cloud foundations across GCP and AWS
• Own security posture and compliance of developer platform
• Evolve developer tooling for CI/CD, deployment, and observability
• Integrate AI agents into infrastructure and security operations

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years leading engineering teams in cloud infrastructure
• 5+ years backend or infrastructure engineering with GCP and AWS
• Strong grounding in platform security (IAM, secrets, vulnerability management)
• Experience with modern developer tooling (CI/CD, build systems, deployment)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI and LLM-based systems
• Experience bringing developer platforms to market
• Knowledge of Backstage or similar internal developer portals
