🎯 What You'll Do

• Act as SME on materials selection for aerospace propulsion applications.
• Lead material and process development projects for performance and cost.
• Oversee material specifications aligned with aerospace industry standards.
• Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Define technology roadmap for aerospace materials and manufacturing.

📋 Requirements

• Master's degree in Materials Science or related field with 8+ years experience
• Expertise in metallic materials like stainless steels, nickel, titanium alloys
• Experience with root cause analysis and material failure investigations
• Proficiency in material testing methods and aerospace standards (ASTM, AMS)

✨ Nice to Have

• Propulsion systems experience with high-temperature materials
• Hands-on additive manufacturing experience like laser powder bed fusion
• Expertise in joining methods such as TIG welding, EB welding, brazing
