💼 About This Role

You'll join MongoDB's Technical Services team, solving complex database issues for customers worldwide. Your expertise will guide customers on architecture, performance, and security, while you advocate for their needs. You'll also contribute to internal tools and mentor new team members in a hybrid work environment based in Kuala Lumpur.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Resolve customer issues on architecture, performance, recovery, and security
• Advocate for customer needs with product management and development teams
• Contribute to internal projects like support tool development
• Mentor and ramp new team members in MongoDB ecosystem

📋 Requirements

• Systems engineering experience with Linux performance, memory, I/O, security, and networking
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS)
• Experience building and maintaining production database systems
• Ability to read code and scripting in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience managing large-scale databases (RDBMS, NoSQL)
• Experience with MongoDB or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with Kubernetes or orchestration systems
