Description

You will lead the technical direction of Nubank's Mobile Platform, a foundational system serving tens of millions of customers. You'll own multi-year initiatives like Mobile Destination Architecture and app startup refactor, shaping how the entire engineering organization builds mobile products.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience designing and operating large-scale mobile applications or platforms at enterprise level
• Deep expertise in mobile architecture: Flutter/Dart, native bridges, modularization, mono-repo
• Experience leading cross-org initiatives like native-to-Flutter/BDC migrations, app startup refactors, or observability redesigns
• Strong track record of leading through influence and aligning teams on technical trade-offs
• Cares deeply about observability, reliability, and release health for mobile

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction of Nubank's Mobile Platform across App Foundations, App Enablement, and App Release
• Own multi-year, high-visibility initiatives such as Mobile Destination Architecture, native code deprecation, app startup refactor, and BDC evolution
• Define technical roadmaps and represent Mobile Platforms in cross-company forums and executive discussions
• Sponsor and mentor other senior/principal engineers, raising the bar for technical leadership
• Drive platform engineering at scale: define canonical patterns, RFCs, and reference implementations
