Description

You will develop new business and grow existing accounts in the commercial HVAC market, focusing on kitchen ventilation and restaurant HVAC systems. You'll support contractors, engineers, and end users by identifying project needs, recommending technical solutions, and managing opportunities from design through completion.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of successful direct, outside sales experience
• HVAC, kitchen, and/or construction experience
• Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent direct industry related job experience
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Customer service and sales driven
• Solid interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
• Successful negotiator
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Responsibilities

• Selling distribution products to select accounts
• Promoting kitchen product lines and company name
• Assisting customers with operational objectives by advising on proper application and selection of equipment
• Providing technical support on product lines
• Developing and maintaining solid working relationships through verbal and written correspondence with customers and manufacturers
• Periodic travel for training, industry meetings, and customer entertainment
