Description

You will lead the technical evolution of Nubank's Credit Card platform, leveraging Generative AI to automate complex operational tasks and orchestrating the global migration from current systems to a unified architecture. You'll define the long-term migration strategy, architect AI-driven engineering solutions, and mentor senior engineers to foster excellence in distributed systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on large-scale distributed systems
• Proven experience leading critical system migrations and managing coexistence between old and new architectures
• Strong interest or practical experience in using GenAI/LLMs for engineering productivity and data analysis
• Ability to design reusable APIs and contracts that serve multiple product teams with high reliability
• Fluent English for global collaboration across Brazil, US, Mexico, and Colombia

Responsibilities

• Define long-term roadmap for decommissioning legacy systems, starting with 1-year migration plan for Colombian market
• Architect and integrate AI solutions (cloud-based agents) to automate infrastructure maintenance and data migration
• Collaborate with General Managers, PMs, and Staff+ ICs to align technical decisions with business needs across countries
• Mentor senior engineers, fostering culture of pragmatism, excellence in distributed systems, and adoption of AI tools
