Description

You will apply data science, statistics, and causal inference to strategically define, measure, and improve Roblox's alt detection systems. This role is critical for safety, growth, and creator incentives, and involves developing evaluation strategies, calibrating thresholds, and integrating identity models across products.

Requirements

• 8+ years industry experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning engineering
• 6+ years experience with Python, R, SQL, Hive, Spark, and Airflow
• Knowledge of ML and Deep Learning via training or industry experience
• Experience developing large-scale safety or moderation systems
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field

Responsibilities

• Develop ground truth evaluation strategies using manual labels and weak supervision
• Calibrate score thresholds for high-precision enforcement and high-recall growth reporting
• Partner with MLE to identify and validate new behavioral, network, and biometric signals
• Collaborate on modular systems for processing billions of candidate pairs and high-concurrency graph traversals
• Lead cross-functional integration of identity models into Discovery, Ads, and Creator Success
