You'll analyze and optimize aircraft and propulsion system performance for high-speed aircraft supporting national defense. Your work will directly impact aircraft development and certification through thermodynamic cycle analysis and flight test support.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform thermodynamic cycle analysis of turbofan engines across flight envelope
• Develop and maintain propulsion system performance models
• Generate aircraft and engine performance data for flight manuals and assessments
• Author and execute flight test plans for propulsion robustness
• Contribute to advanced combustion and fluid dynamics modeling

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Strong foundation in thermodynamics, compressible flow, and gas turbine cycles
• Experience with propulsion performance modeling
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Python
