💼 About This Role

You'll lead the design and engineering of GPU data centers from 1MW to 1GW+, working with colocation facilities and greenfield builds. You'll drive site validation, conceptual design, and material scoping while coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects from 0 to 1. This role is based in San Francisco with travel required.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create and validate electrical, mechanical, and architectural designs for data center sites
• Manage third-party A&E firms and guide the design phase of projects
• Collaborate with construction, procurement, and hardware teams on design decisions
• Review and revise one-line diagrams, CFD analysis, and BIM/VDC models

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing data center MEP infrastructure
• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Experience with value engineering and managing third-party A&E firms
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/VDC programs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-density liquid cooling systems (DLC, CDUs, large HVAC)
• Experience with medium/high-voltage utility infrastructure including substations
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms, BMS/BAS architecture
