Description

You will lead the Ads ML Infra team at Roblox, building scalable, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure to power ML systems that deliver effective performance ads to hundreds of millions of users. You'll own the architecture, establish best practices, and mentor a team of ML infrastructure engineers. This role involves strategic planning, roadmap execution, and close collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers, and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale ML systems in production
• 3+ years of experience tech leading ML infrastructure engineers
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and roadmap execution of scalable production-ready ML systems including model training, data pipelines, feature engineering, and model inference
• Own architecture and establish engineering best practices for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of ML infrastructure
• Mentor and grow a team of machine learning infrastructure engineers
• Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, platform teams, and product stakeholders to design and implement robust ML platforms
• Stay abreast of industry trends in machine learning and infrastructure to ensure adoption of leading-edge technologies
