💼 About This Role

You'll architect and own the infrastructure systems that power Salient at scale, processing millions of financial transactions and customer interactions daily. You'll define the technical direction for reliability, scalability, and developer velocity across the stack. This is a high-impact role at an AI-native company backed by a16z and Y Combinator.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architectural decisions for infrastructure-critical initiatives
• Design and own cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for compute, networking, and storage
• Develop harnesses for reliable coding agent operations
• Drive reliability with SLOs, monitoring, and incident response

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years at senior/staff level
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Expert in infrastructure-as-code and scalable automation
• Experience owning Kubernetes and CI/CD in production
