You will perform routine cleaning of assigned areas in a healthcare setting, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and disinfection. This role involves sanitizing rooms, moving furniture, and maintaining equipment. Your work directly contributes to a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Institutional housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas using standard cleaning supplies and disinfectants
• Sanitize room contents upon resident discharge for terminal clean
• Move and relocate furniture, furnishings, and equipment upon resident room changes
• Care for hard surface floors and carpet/upholstery, including spot cleaning
• Pick up and remove trash in assigned areas
