💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care while building a strong foundation for your career. This program offers flexibility in location and schedule to fit your academic requirements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with an emergency credentialed veterinary technician for real-time mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, and diagnostics
• Practice skills required by your school's proficiency checklist
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care at VEG

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and support up to 40 kg with assistance
