💼 About This Role

You'll lead daily supervision of a CLIA team processing pregnancy blood samples for UNITY, the only NIPT detecting inherited disorders from maternal blood. Your oversight ensures accurate diagnostic results that directly impact patient outcomes. This role offers the chance to drive process improvements in a high-growth molecular diagnostics company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead daily supervision of CLIA lab operations and staff scheduling.
• Perform high-complexity clinical assays for prenatal diagnostics.
• Conduct quality control studies and instrument calibrations.
• Contribute to process improvement projects including tech transfer.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences.
• Minimum 4 years of CLS experience in a clinical setting.
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (ASCP, CGMBS or generalist).
• Hands-on training in molecular biology protocols (DNA extraction, PCR, liquid handlers).
