Description

You will lead the finance and accounting strategy for Samsung Research America, managing a team of roughly 15 people. You'll oversee budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and provide strategic input to the executive team in an entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• 10+ years of professional work experience in Finance (FP&A) or Accounting/Tax, preferably in a global tech company
• Proven leadership of finance/accounting teams
• Deep accounting background with US GAAP and consolidated financial statements experience
• Strong analytical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Lead SRA budget management and GBM Fundings
• Oversee Accounting Department for accurate and timely financial results under GAAP
• Direct preparation of consolidated financial reports and budget analysis
• Oversee financial audit process and partner with external firms
• Provide strategic financial input on decision-making and new business opportunities
