💼 About This Role

You'll drive new business acquisition for Verkada's cloud security platform in the Calgary corporate market. Your core impact will be disrupting legacy physical security with an integrated AI-powered solution. This role offers the chance to own a greenfield territory at a rapidly scaling startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan
  • Spend over 50% of time on field-based sales activities
  • Manage entire sales process from prospecting to closing
  • Partner with channel partners to drive deal registrations

📋 Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in B2B software/hardware sales
  • 2-3+ years building greenfield territories in Enterprise accounts
  • Willingness to travel 50% and live in Alberta
  • Track record of closing new logos and landing major accounts

✨ Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the energy industry in Canada
  • Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology
  • Relevant security software or SaaS experience
