Description

You will build database migration tooling and AI-powered capabilities to help customers seamlessly migrate workloads to CockroachDB. You'll contribute to the MOLT tooling suite, enabling a unified and delightful migration experience.

Requirements

• Passion for complex technical products and distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, Java, or Python
• Strong system design for high throughput data systems
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, Db2)
• Experience or strong interest in applied AI and agentic coding tools

Responsibilities

• Build database migration tooling and AI-powered migration capabilities
• Apply agentic AI to the migrations journey from experimentation to production
• Unify MOLT tooling into a single AI-powered migration experience
• Develop in Go using agentic coding tools
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and field engineering
