💼 About This Role

You'll design, build, and operate AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a defense tech company. You'll own observability and reliability improvements, partnering with product and backend teams to deliver mission-critical systems. This role offers the chance to work on national security at the intersection of software engineering and security.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Own observability: metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Partner with application teams on architecture and performance tuning.

📋 Requirements

• Experience administering infrastructure and applications on AWS.
• Experience using Terraform for single-tenant and multi-tenant systems.
• Practical experience with IP networking (VPCs, routing, subnets, DNS).
• Strong instincts in network security (security groups, NACLs, firewalls).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Ansible or similar deployment automation.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or another CI/CD platform.
• Experience with Grafana dashboards and OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
