💼 About This Role

You'll monitor and protect customer networks against cybersecurity threats as part of a Managed Security Services team. Your core impact is investigating and responding to incidents using EDR/XDR tools to prevent data compromise. This role offers mentorship and training through the VirtualArmour Academy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and triage security alerts from EDR, SIEM, and related tools
• Investigate endpoint threats using EDR platforms
• Perform incident response and evidence collection
• Develop and maintain detection playbooks

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of SOC or incident response experience
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Stellar Cyber
• Knowledge of attacker tactics aligned to MITRE ATT&CK
• Strong understanding of Windows security fundamentals

• Experience with Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender for Identity, Azure AD)
• Basic scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Security certifications like Security+, GCIH
