Description

You will design and maintain robust, scalable data models in Snowflake and dbt to power Contentful's unified analytics platform. Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, you'll deliver trusted datasets that enable data-driven decisions across the company. Your work is central to evolving Contentful into a modern, governed, and insight-led architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development in a modern data stack
• Proven expertise with SQL and building modular data models in dbt
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake (warehouses, roles, virtual warehouses, performance tuning)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with version control, testing, and observability in dbt or similar frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient analytics models in dbt and Snowflake
• Transform raw data from product, finance, sales, marketing, and operations into analytics-ready structures
• Take end-to-end ownership of analytics engineering projects: scoping, implementation, and monitoring
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to deliver trusted data assets
• Contribute to the shared data catalog and drive adoption of best practices
