💼 About This Role

You'll serve as a customer-facing bioinformatics expert for Twist's NGS target enrichment portfolio, providing pre- and post-sales technical support. You'll translate customer requirements into custom NGS panel designs, analyze NGS data, and collaborate with sales and R&D teams. This role is fully remote with up to 10% travel.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide technical support for pre- and post-sales NGS discussions
• Design custom NGS panels using existing design workflows
• Perform bioinformatics analysis for customer troubleshooting
• Liaise between customers, sales, and internal teams

📋 Requirements

• PhD in Bioinformatics or related field with 2+ years experience
• MS/BS with 7+ years experience in genomics
• NGS applications knowledge (WES, RNA-seq, methylation)
• Linux and command-line bioinformatics tools (BWA, GATK, etc.)

✨ Nice to Have

• Background in medical genetics, oncology, or immunology
• 2+ years in a customer-facing role
• Wet lab experience with NGS library prep
