You'll support production database systems within managed service and cloud environments, ensuring availability, performance, and security. You'll collaborate with cloud operations and development teams to optimize database performance and contribute to high-availability configurations. This role offers growth in a global FinTech company with hybrid work in Pisa.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform day-to-day DBA operations including backups and recovery
• Monitor and tune database performance using AWR and queries
• Enforce database security and access controls
• Collaborate with development teams on design and optimization

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years administering SQL Server in production
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server High Availability (HA)
• Experience with Oracle environments including ASM
• Hands-on experience with AWS/EC2 or cloud-hosted databases

✨ Nice to Have

• Certified SQL Server DBA
• Experience with Bash/Ksh scripting
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL or T-SQL
