💼 About This Role

You'll lead laboratory testing of electric propulsion systems for the Valo eVTOL aircraft. You'll own the design and development of next-generation test rigs for performance and endurance validation. This role offers the chance to shape certification processes with regulatory bodies like the CAA.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and execute laboratory testing of propulsion systems
• Design and develop next-generation propulsion test rigs
• Define and deliver test plans for structural, vibration, and environmental tests
• Troubleshoot and optimize test rigs with instrumentation and DAQ systems

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in aerospace propulsion or rotor system testing
• Proven track record in verification and validation campaigns for propulsion systems
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation for structural and dynamic measurements
• Experience with LabVIEW, Simulink, CANoe, Python, or DAQs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with rotating systems (propellers, rotors, electric motors)
• Familiarity with propulsion testing in laboratory environments
• Understanding of certification frameworks and regulatory requirements
