You'll perform analytical system studies and ensure reliability for the New York ISO. You'll assess transmission limits and support real-time operations. This role offers exposure to NERC and NPCC standards and participation in industry study groups.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform seasonal reliability assessments and stability studies
• Conduct analysis of system events and disturbances
• Maintain power system models for NYCA in IDC
• Provide technical oversight to Associate Engineers

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field
• 2 years of experience in the energy field
• Experience with blackstart compliance studies
• Experience with PSSE, TSAT, EMTP-RV, ETAP software

• Experience with transient stability studies
• Experience with protection system testing
• NERC or NPCC committee participation
