Description

You will lead the Eval Platform team, owning the simulation and evaluation platform that underpins autonomy development and driverless readiness validation. You'll define the technical vision, execution strategy, and organizational structure to enable rapid iteration and rigorous validation for autonomous vehicle systems.

Requirements

  • Deep technical expertise in building simulation systems and evaluation platforms for large-scale ML / robotics systems.
  • Strong understanding of autonomy and validation, and how to build high quality tools for these use cases.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-impact engineering organizations, including managers and senior ICs.
  • Ability to translate complex technical signals into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the technical vision and roadmap for the Eval Platform spanning simulation, evaluation infrastructure, and software quality operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-team organization (managers and senior ICs), fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Build and scale simulation and evaluation capabilities supporting both rapid autonomy iteration and rigorous validation use cases.
  • Own the autonomy evaluation and validation platform, partnering with Autonomy and Systems leadership to ensure reliability, scalability, and trust.
  • Represent Eval Platform at the executive level, communicating tradeoffs, progress, risks, and readiness.
