You'll lead negotiation of commercial agreements including SaaS and licensing contracts, and provide legal support across IP, data protection, and employment. You'll be the key legal point of contact in Japan, operating with autonomy while shaping the company's expansion in the region. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements including SaaS and licensing contracts.
• Provide legal support on IP, data protection, and employment matters.
• Support Japan expansion including regulatory, corporate, and operational tasks.
• Advise cross-functional teams on business-oriented legal issues.

📋 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Japan with ability to advise on Japanese law.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong experience in commercial law, ideally SaaS or licensing agreements.
• Ability to work across a wide range of legal areas (IP, commercial, procurement, etc.).

• In-house or equivalent experience in fast-paced international environment.
• Experience operating as sole or primary counsel in country.
