Description

You will perform structural/stress analysis using hand calculations and FEA, work with design teams to optimize structures for strength and weight, and support testing and validation of aerospace components. This role has a direct impact on flight-critical hardware from concept to certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• 3-5+ years aerospace experience preferred
• Proficiency in ANSYS, ABAQUS, and Siemens NX (Unigraphics) CAD
• Strong understanding of structural mechanics, dynamics, and material science
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required

Responsibilities

• Perform structural/stress analysis using hand calculations and FEA
• Perform structural dynamic analysis including rotor dynamics and environmental equivalence
• Work with designers to optimize structural designs for strength, weight, and manufacturability
• Support structural testing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Compile stress analysis documentation to support engineering drawing release
