Description

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Markforged, you'll lead production support, drive new product introductions, and sustain product quality for cutting-edge 3D metal and carbon fiber printers. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, reduce costs, and mentor junior engineers, directly impacting the digital transformation of manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME, MFG, or IE preferred)
• 5 years product-based electromechanical experience
• Proficient in Solidworks, 3D modeling, GD&T, and EPDM
• Experience with LEAN, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma
• Experience with ISO Quality Management Systems

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional production support on people, process, materials, and equipment to achieve operational goals
• Lead NPI teams and product launches at contract manufacturer sites
• Serve as product owner for major product families, driving sustaining engineering and managing build state records
• Report manufacturing KPIs to ops/engineering leaders and senior management
• Design and implement robust tooling/fixture solutions to improve process control and throughput
