Description
As a Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will partner with Commercial Account Executives to understand customer challenges, deliver product demonstrations, and guide prospects through proof-of-concept evaluations. You'll act as a trusted technical advisor, helping organizations secure identities and embrace AI safely, while collaborating across teams to drive sales success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience selling SaaS products
- Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or pre-sales
- Ability to quickly communicate complex technical ideas
- Experience with network security protocols like OAuth, SAML, LDAP
- Hands-on experience in web, mobile, or backend development
Responsibilities
- Work with Corporate/Expansion sales team as technical expert to demonstrate Okta's value
- Understand customer challenges and provide product demonstrations aligned to needs
- Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, partners, and colleagues
- Plan and deliver Proof of Concepts for complex use cases
- Provide feedback to product management for product enhancements
