Description

You will lead a team focused on developer experience and AI-assisted development, building frictionless tooling and paved paths for engineers. You'll operate as an internal forward-deployed engineer, driving adoption of AI tools and measuring impact using metrics like DORA/SPACE.

Requirements

• Strong bias toward action, curiosity, and focus on impact
• Experience leading teams in developer productivity, DevEx, internal platforms, or engineering tooling
• Track record of driving adoption of new workflows and platforms across an engineering organization
• Experience evaluating and deploying AI coding tools, developer assistants, or LLM-based workflows
• Strong software engineering background (backend, platform, or developer tools)

Responsibilities

• Set direction for AI-assisted development, end-to-end: define tooling standards, rollout strategy, and adoption
• Build frictionless paved paths: identify and remove friction in developer workflows
• Own internal AI platform strategy (build vs. buy), including vendor evaluation and integrations
• Drive governance and cost management for AI tooling using clear metrics and frameworks
• Operate across boundaries and influence without direct ownership
