Description

You will maintain and repair HVAC support equipment on facilities systems, collaborate with engineering and management, and perform ductwork and refrigeration repairs to ensure peak system operation for SpaceX's Starship program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years professional experience with HVAC, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand up to 10 hours, climb ladders up to 500ft, work in confined spaces
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident per ITAR

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment including air handlers, chilled water systems, condenser pumps, cooling towers
• Perform preventative maintenance schedule on launch associated HVAC systems
• Perform brazing, soldering, evacuation and charging of various refrigerants
• Perform ductwork modifications and water piping/insulation repairs
• Collaborate with engineering and managers to maintain systems in peak operating condition
