💼 About This Role

You'll own the design and development of scalable data infrastructure and ETL pipelines for a robotics startup. You will play a foundational role in shaping how data flows across the organization. As our first data hire, you'll have significant ownership over the future of data architecture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for operational and machine-generated data
• Architect and manage the data warehouse and infrastructure strategy
• Develop systems for data collection, transformation, storage, and retrieval
• Implement data quality, governance, and monitoring processes

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines in production
• Deep understanding of data warehouse architecture and modeling
• Strong programming in Python and SQL

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow, or dbt
• Experience handling large-scale datasets from IoT or operational platforms
