💼 About This Role

You'll be the mechanical lead for Loft missions, owning spacecraft structural and thermal design. You'll develop budgets, CAD models, and analysis while collaborating with customers and subcontractors to ensure mission success. This role offers hands-on work across the full mission lifecycle.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop mechanical analysis budgets and detailed CAD models
• Perform structural and thermal analysis of spacecraft components
• Generate test plans and procedures for structural/thermal verification
• Support AIT activities and procure MGSE

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years experience in spacecraft mechanical design and structural analysis
• Proficiency with Solidworks or similar CAD software
• Expert-level FEA experience with Nastran, ANSYS, or similar

• Craig Bampton model reduction for launch authorities
