You'll build scalable healthcare API infrastructure using Python and FastAPI on AWS, handling millions of monthly requests for an AI doctor platform. Your work will directly impact making healthcare free and accessible while maintaining medical safety and HIPAA compliance.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain RESTful APIs for healthcare AI tools
• Optimize database performance for high-volume sensitive data
• Integrate with EHR systems, QHINs, and telehealth platforms
• Implement caching strategies with Redis for secure session management

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years backend engineering with Python
• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proficiency with cloud services (AWS preferred)

• Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and HIPAA
