Description

As a Sr. Sourcing Specialist on the Starshield Supply Chain team, you will manage demand planning, sourcing, and supplier relationships for hardware used in the Starshield satellite constellation. You'll develop cost strategies, run RFx processes, and drive improvements to enable production rates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or engineering; or 5+ years in lieu of degree
• Technical procurement or planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components preferred
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, SQL, Access, etc.
• Ability to work irregular hours and travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers
• Aggregate demand picture for hardware used to support Starshield satellite constellation
• Act as supplier interface for all RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Manage cost aggressively to ensure adherence to project budgets and forecasts
• Develop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis
