💼 About This Role

You'll design and build backend services and data pipelines for Spotify's Rights Center, a platform comparable to YouTube's Content ID. You'll help evolve the platform architecture as it expands to new content types and territories. This role offers strategic investment and growth over the next 2–5 years.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services and data pipelines
• Partner with product, insights, design, and engineering peers
• Deliver scalable, testable, maintainable backend systems
• Evolve platform architecture for new content types

📋 Requirements

• Strong experience in Java or similar languages
• Experience with distributed, high-volume services
• Proficiency with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Bazel, GCP services, and data pipeline tools
• Familiarity with rights management or content moderation
