Description

You will conduct state-of-the-art research in robotics and embodied intelligence, design and implement research prototypes on robotic platforms, and provide technical leadership to shape R&D priorities. Your work will leverage Samsung's product ecosystem to deliver novel user experiences and define the company's future in robotics.

Requirements

• PhD degree in CS/EE/Robotics or equivalent.
• 7+ years post-graduate experience conducting state-of-the-art robotics R&D.
• Strong research track-record with multiple first-author publications at top-tier venues (e.g., CoRL, ICRA, RAL, RSS, CVPR, ICML).
• Comprehensive understanding of robotics, machine learning, and computer vision fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and testing integrated behaviors on simulated and real robots.

Responsibilities

• Conduct state-of-the-art research in robotics and embodied intelligence, including robotics foundation models, VLA models, VLMs, and dexterous manipulation.
• Design and implement research prototypes and technology demonstrators on robotic platforms.
• Work within cross-functional teams to assist in design, analysis, and performance evaluation from concept to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and shape R&D priorities by following up-to-date scientific research.
• Generate patents and scientific research papers for top-tier publication venues.
