Description

You will perform thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components, develop and support secondary airflow system models, and contribute to root cause analysis and FMEA for gas turbine engines. You'll collaborate closely with customer teams, preparing reports and presentations on your findings.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience in CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, or Secondary Airflow Systems
• Familiarity with fluid dynamics and heat transfer theory
• Experience with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or CFX highly preferred
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery
• Develop geometry and mesh for analysis models, set up and run simulations
• Post-process results and prepare high-quality presentations
• Create and maintain secondary airflow system and whole engine models
• Participate in root cause analysis and FMEA for gas turbine engines
