💼 About This Role

You'll develop, qualify, and optimize welding operations for autonomous factories producing aerospace and defense components. You'll partner with manufacturing, quality, and automation teams to deploy stable, scalable welding systems that directly impact structural integrity and production throughput. This role spans arc, laser, resistance, and automated welding technologies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and qualify welding processes for production cells
• Establish and control welding parameters for repeatability
• Lead root cause analysis of weld defects
• Create and maintain WPS/PQR documentation

📋 Requirements

• Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in arc, laser, or resistance welding
• Knowledge of weld metallurgy and defect mechanisms
• Ability to read weld symbols and technical specifications

• Experience with multiple welding modalities (arc + laser + resistance)
• Background in automated or robotic welding systems
• Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, RT, PT, VT)
