You'll set Waymo's company-wide strategy for engaging with Standard Development Organizations like ISO, IEEE, and SAE. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop coordinated strategy for Waymo's SDO engagement across ISO, IEEE, SAE.
• Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and external standardization bodies.
• Create and run internal training programs on standardization landscapes.
• Prioritize working group participation to shape consensus and preserve optionality.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years engaging with Standards Development Organizations (ISO, IEEE, SAE).
• Proven track record developing corporate strategy for standardization in technical domains.
• Ability to build consensus and translate external requirements into internal policies.
• Deep understanding of automotive safety frameworks and verification methods.

• Prior leadership on umbrella committees within ISO, SAE, or IEEE.
• Experience designing and running internal training programs in complex organizations.
